May 03 (Thurs @ 7pm) – Psychography, Investigated Cases
– Guilherme Velho (Guest Speaker)

In this Spiritist talk, Mr. Velho will share his extensive research and findings in regards to the psychographic messages by many mediums published in his book, “Psychography, Investigated Cases”. If you are interested in knowing more about psychography and the communication of spirits through mediums, come and listen to this talk and be enlightened with what Spiritism has to offer!

May 05 – Practical Forgiveness: A Gateway to Freedom
– Daniel and Kirsten Santos

Come and Join Daniel and Kirsten as they discuss ways to achieve self forgiveness as well as giving forgiveness to others. Forgiveness is a fundamental idea and should be implemented in our lives to achieve happiness and inner peace.

May 12 – Honoring Our Parents

Our parents are our first encounter with relationships and their roles in our lives are vital. Let us learn together how important it is to honor them, despite their faults according to Spiritism.

May 19- Thought and Life (Ch. 13-15)

Leo will continue the study series of the book “Thought and Life” by Emmanuel/Chico Xavier.  Come and join us to learn more about Children, The Body and Health from a Spiritist perspective through the words of Emmanuel.

May 24 (Thurs @ 7 pm) – Do Not Be Anxious About Anything
– Debora Beldowicz (Guest Speaker)
The apostle Paul recommended us to ‘do not be anxious about anything’.  But what is the logic in his teachings? What does Spiritism bring us in relations to our apparent troubles and tribulations?  This lecture will bring the psychological and spiritual aspect of this true illness that affects our planet.

May 26 –  SSB Headquarter Closed  (Fundraising Art Event).  Join us at the Abigail Francisco School of Classical Ballet – presenting excerpts from The Sleeping Beauty.  Original choreography, featuring jazz, tap and contemporary numbers. Guest Speakers Bio

Guilherme Velho is a writer, businessman and an International Spiritist speaker. He began his Spiritist activities in the 1980’s with the St. Francis Spiritist Group in Brazil. He has been giving Spiritist lectures surrounding his area of research on life after death and the communicability of spirits. He is the author of the book, “Psychography, Investigated Cases”, in which he reveals his research and the psychography of mediums.

 

Debora Beldowicz, graduated in psychology/criminal justice in 1998 from Montclair State University NJ, currently finalizing her second Master’s Degree.Works as a life coach at private office, coordinates LAPS (Latin American Psychological Support Center) in NJ. President of Good Harvest Fraternal Group, a non-profit 501(c) (3) charitable organization comprising a Spiritist Center and a Community Sector, located in Newark NJ.
