May 16 – The Implications of Rational Faith
@ 5 pm    Julio Padovan (Guess speaker)
What is faith?… and more importantly, what is “rational” faith? When freed from the oppression of misguided political and religious influences, the scientific thought took a repressive stance of its own, banning anything that could be slightly related to the non-physical, the non-measurable. Rather than a philosophical debate, we simply ask whether it is possible to believe earnestly in the non-physical without relinquishing our most precious asset, the ability to reason; and how constructive reasoning may be in our daily lives.
