Aug 23 – Free Will and Its Implications to Moral Growth

Free will has been debated extensively from many points of view. In Spiritism, particularly, it is perhaps the most poorly understood concept of all, with forced associations to one’s rights and inherent freedom, both fallacious relationships that end up masking its true meaning and application. We do not attempt to redefine free will in this lecture, but rather reposition it within the Spiritist context by studying the differences between divine justice and human justice, followed by their respective implications to our decision-making ability and spiritual growth.
