Feb 07 – Moral Reform and Spiritual Growth as the Answers to Hardship

In a world of chaos, trials, and expiations, how do we move forward? Join us as we study the story of Palmira in Bezerra de Menezes and Camilo Castelo Branco’s ‘On the Canvas of the Infinite.’ Learn how the Spiritist principles of patience and selflessness inspire moral reform and spiritual growth in the face of difficult experiences.
Amanda Souto is a lifelong Spiritist who has been a part of the Allan Kardec Spiritist Society of Maryland (AKSS-MD) since she was five years old. She gives lectures in both English and Portuguese, She also teaches an adolescent group at AKSS-MD, helps coordinate charitable activities, and collaborates with other Spiritist educators across the US. In her professional life, Amanda is an infectious disease epidemiologist.

This presentation invites seekers of spiritual peace to move from being passive observers to active co-creators of a harmonious reality. Inspired by Jesus, the Prince of Peace, who modeled peace —one that remains unshaken by external storms—this session provides practical, soul-centered tools to anchor this divine state in your daily life.
