Jul 06 Law of Freedom

Join us on an in-person open discussion about the Law of Freedom based on Chapter Ten of the Third Part of the Spirits’ Book. The are no pre-requirements to join the meeting, but we do recommend reading the chapter.

Jul 13 –  The Talent of Each One of Us

This talk will explore the profound lessons of the parable of talents from the gospel of Matthew (25:14-30), emphasizing the importance of recognizing and utilizing our unique abilities. The parable teaches that each of us is entrusted with talents, and it is our responsibility to invest and multiply them for the greater good. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own talents, no matter how small, and to consider how they can use these talents to make a meaningful impact in their lives and the lives of others. The talk aims to inspire a sense of responsibility and empowerment, urging everyone to cultivate and share their talents for the benefit of all.

Jussara Korngold is currently the General Secretary of the International Spiritist Council, former president and current Vice-President of the United States Spiritist Federation. She is the founder and president of the Spiritist Group of New York and the Spiritist Alliance for Books Mrs. Korngold is fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. She is an international speaker, a published author, and a translator. Mrs. Korngold works for Brazil Child Health/Dara Institute as its main executive.

Jul 20 – Salvation According to Spiritism

Some say, “without the Church there is no salvation.” Others believe one can’t find salvation “without the truth.” Let’s explore the concept of salvation from the perspective of Spiritism, as a process of personal growth and moral development,  emphasizing love, charity, and the continuous pursuit of knowledge and virtue.

Jul 27 – Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus

Leo will continue a series of talks exploring Christ’s teachings and how to apply them in our lives. In this presentation he will reflect on the “Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus” found in the Gospel of Luke 16:19-31 of the New Testament.
